THIS BOOK IS AN EASY SOURCE OF WELDING TECHNOLOGY. AS A WELDING ENGINEER I CAN FIND THE INFORMATION NEEDED RAPIDLY. THE BOOK HAS MANY PREQUALIFY WELDING PROCEDURES VERY USEFUL IN COMMON APLICATIONS.

I contacted Lincoln Electric’s web site some time in Jan.2004 and asked if the book THE PROCEDURE HANDBOOK OF ARC WELDING was still available and what the price was, if so. Their reply was, yes it is and the price was either $22 or $23 dollars. I recommend you check this out before commiting to purchase something used for such high prices. My experience is that they are very generous with educational materials..

This book covers a wide variety of welding parameters and all you will need to learn the correct procedures of arc welding.
It also goes in depth on the tensile strengths of metals and any pre/post heat needed to maintain the ductility of alloys.
I strongly encourage the purchase.
