That was not observed at a place I worked.
Result – something happened and tank launched like a rocket – went thru block wall – smashed into an employee’s Volkswagon – went tumbling down and along plant’s chain link fence. It happened before I worked there. I did not see it happen. Heard dif versions as in the Gospel of Bang according to Tom Dick and Larry.
hey where is your fire watch?
Health & Safety? Rule 1 = store gas cylinder upright and keep secure! lol
Wow Great info I did learn from this. Thanks
He clearly talked about that at around 13:40 min.
Nice video. Thanks for the info.
@poeticromance He did say there’s heat. So no, you cannot touch it.
can you touch the piece of metal while welding?
fanTASTIC video
WOW thanks for all the great info!
Really thanks for taking the time to make this video, it was very helpful !
yeah I have the cheap harbor freight welder. The welds are so ugly. One time I used a Lincoln electric mig welder with a 25% argon 75% co2 mix. The welds where so nice.
nice and clear very informative learnt alot from a short video thanks
Thank you, this was a well made informative video.
Please chain up your gas tank, you are a good welder you should know. thanks 4 the video,
Great explanation video. Now get busy and clean up that garage !!!
Actually the one i have is couple more amps than the 90amp. after i looked at It. It can use gas . I’ve never used gas with this welder, since the heaviest work i do with it is on exhaust piping, With me and this welder, we make some nasty looking welds, but it’s all outside and in bad positions.
just go to his youtube page and click “send a message”
harbor freight? the gasless kind?
I have the little 90amp Harbor and with flux core it’s fairly weak. 1/4″ is pushing what it can do. I have welded 1/4 but it looks horrible and the welder isn’t hot enough. I would invest in some argon or Co2, you could achieve alot better results and penetrate a whole lot better. I’m not a welder, but I’ve used flux and co2 and it’s like night in day.
Wish I watched this vid years ago! Thanks for explaining this so well.
also faster than arc weld
Outstanding MiG video David, easily the best on YT.

@trexheliflyer Lincoln makes much better welders.
